In this workshop, we’ll delve into two distinguished forms of poetry called the Ekphrasis and the Acoustic:
Ekphrasis means “description” in Greek and is, at its foundation, poetry about visual art (including sculpture).
Acrostic is poetry where the first letter of each line spells out a word, name, or phrase when read vertically.
Whether you’re curious, beginner, intermediate or advanced poet, come join us in this exploration and experience two significant and fun forms of poetry!
