Welcome to the in-person session of PLAYlab, our monthly playwriting series for sharing work and receiving feedback. Writers have between 20 and 40 minutes (depending on participation numbers) to read/hear their piece aloud, listen to feedback, and ask questions. All feedback is guided and given in a generous, productive spirit. Big egos and harsh critics will not be tolerated.

There may also be quiet writing time and discussions around craft and process. Playwrights are welcome to bring something they’re working on along with any questions about craft or process they’d like to discuss.

We meet at UHeights in the University District area of Seattle. Snacks will be provided. There is a suggested donation of $15 for this in-person lab.
