What does it mean to be a playwright? How can we find connection through our writing?

This two-part series has two sessions each and is an exploration through the craft, business, and critique of playwriting. The two class sessions will be hybrid (join us from anywhere in the country on Zoom or gather in the room with us in Seattle), and the two play discussion sessions will be in person at the theater following a performance. Join SCRiB LAB and Seattle Rep staff as we examine the art of playwriting from multiple angles.

  1. Mon 5/16, 5-7pm PT: Art & Business of Playwriting class

  2. Sun 5/21, 2-5pm PT: Selling Kabul matinee followed by post-show critical conversation

  3. Mon 6/6, 5-7pm PT: Art & Business of Playwriting class

  4. Sun 6/18, 2-5pm PT: Bruce matinee followed by post-show critical conversation
