These payments are for both SCRiPTlab playwriting groups.

GROUP EXPECTATiONS
GOAL: To provide an intimate space for playwrights to explore craft, share work, develop their voice, and make connections with other playwrights.
MEMBERSHIP
To be eligible to join either group, playwrights must answer a series of questions about their experience and expectations to see if they’re a good match for the group (and the group for them).
Eligible playwrights are added to a waitlist in the order they request to join and are contacted when there’s a new opening. They will be given a set amount of time to respond and confirm ability to join; if they miss that deadline, the next person on the waitlist will be contacted.
Members can stay with the group as long as they would like unless they’re asked to leave.
Reasons a member might be asked to leave the group include: lack of attendance or participation, preventing others from participating, creating an unsafe environment, general disruption, mismatch with group goals/expectations.
The max number of members at any time is 10.
LOGISTICS
Meetings are held on Zoom:
SCRiPTlab: 2nd Sat of every month at 10 am Pacific
PLAYlab: 1st Thurs of every month at 4 pm Pacific
Meetings are a combination of group discussions, writing exercises, shared work with feedback, and mini workshops on craft and process. There are occasionally small assignments between sessions and larger group projects.
All members are expected to contribute equitably to the conversations.
Attendance and participation are key components of this group. Members who miss two meetings in a row will be asked if they’d like to continue with the group. If a third meeting is missed, they’ll be asked to step away.
EXPECTATIONS
Show up on time, if possible.
Keep your camera on, if possible.
Be prepared to share. Be prepared to listen. Be prepared to ask questions and give feedback.
Bring an open mind and a generous heart.
Leave the big egos and dismissive language at the door.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
NO REFUNDS
There are no refunds. Please check and double-check that you are selecting the right membership group and payment occurrence (quarterly or yearly) before submitting payment.
If you pay for the year and leave the group before the end of the paid year, you will not receive any money back. Please consider this when selecting a yearly membership.
QUARTERLY PAYMENTS
Payments are due before each quarter begins. You will be emailed the exact dates when you pay your initial fee.
Suggestion: set up a recurring reminder on your calendar so you don’t forget to pay each quarter.
You may be asked to step away from the group if your quarterly payments are behind.
YEARLY PAYMENTS
Your payment year begins when you join the group (opposed to the calendar year).
You will receive a reminder a month before your next payment is due (11 months from initial payment).
Your payment will be for the year whether you stay with the group or not (see no-refund policy above).
