🗂️ FEBRUARY 2025
We are busy busy busy over here this month. 2025 is already one month in, and we’ve got a LOT in the works. Ready?
🗂️ We’re helping Theatre Puget Sound manage the new Playwright Pitch Day on Feb 26. It’s part of a whole week of activities, called Stage Workers Week, which also includes the week-long Unified General Auditions (UGAs) and a Stage Craft Job Fair. If you’re a playwright and able to be in Seattle on the day, why not submit to pitch? And if you can’t be here in person, there’s a digital binder where auditors can review your work and a monologue library for actors to use for their auditions. Lots more information can be found here.
🗂️ We are deep in planning mode for the Playwriting Conference on Jun 21. We have a day, a space, a budget, a committee, and now we need you! Event proposals are open through Feb 28 (see below for more information), and we’ll be announcing how to purchase a table for the exhibition space soon. Early bird registration will also open in about a month so keep your eye on these newsletters and our website for more announcements.
🗂️ We are planning our first writing retreat! We’ve been wanting to give our playwrights a break from the day-to-day, and we’re finally able to offer a time and space this summer. We’ll have lots of updates as we get closer.
🗂️ May your February be über productive. 🗂️
