Amy Poisson
Amy (she/her) is a dramaturgical director supporting world premiere plays and musicals by femme writers. She is the Producing Artistic Director of Seattle Public Theater and Macha Theatre Works. Anamaria Guerzon
Anamaria (She/They) is a Filipino-American Theatre Artist in. Their work has been developed with The Playwright Realm’s Scratchpad Series (dir. May Adrales), Seattle Public Theater’s Distillery program (dir. Zenaida Smith), Copious Love's Plays On Tap series (2024) and Village Theater’s Northwest Creator’s Program (2022 Cohort), among others. They have received various honors: Finalist for Theater’s Mu’s New Eyes Festival (2024), Finalist for Live & In Color’s June Bingham New Play Commission (2024), and Semi-Finalist for Ashland New Works Festival (2024). They are also a Gregory Award winning actor. They received a BA in Theatre, from Pacific Lutheran University (2021).

Blaire Smith
Blaire is a theatre artist, K-12 educator, Founder of Beyond the Stage Youth, Owner of Social Emotional Theatre, and the current Education Manager at Village Theatre. Blaire champions new voices in theatre and playwriting to foster creativity, unity, and personal growth. She has most recently worked with Village Theatre, Missoula Children’s Theatre, ACT, Double Shot Play Festival, Ancient Lake Theatre Festival and has presented at organizations such as UW, National University, Michigan Afterschool Association Conference, Washington State Bridge Conference, and Girl Scouts conferences. Blaire is a certified Social Emotional Learning Specialist and holds a BA in Theatre Arts and MA in Social Emotional Learning.

Bryan Willis
Bryan is the artistic director for the Northwest Playwrights Alliance at Seattle Rep. His plays have appeared throughout the U.K., China, Israel, Japan, Russia, Canada and U.S., including New York Theater Workshop, Lee Strasberg Institute, Milwaukee Rep, Riverside Studios in London, Seattle Rep and ACT. Bryan’s work has been featured on NPR and commissioned by BBC Radio. He worked in new play development at Playwrights Horizons and Lincoln Center where he served as NYU's Playwright-in-Residence while completing an MFA in Dramatic Writing. He lives in Olympia with his amazing wife, Margo, at Willoughby, Significantly Close to the Sea.

Catherine Blake Smith
Catherine is a Seattle-based theatre artist who has worked with Annex Theatre, Latitude Theatre, Unexpected Productions, and Infinity Box Theatre as a playwright, director, dramaturg, and production manager. At Annex, she has directed plays by Kelleen Conway Blanchard, Jesse Calixto, Nelle Tankus, and Wesley K. Andrews, curated play festivals and variety shows including Spin the Bottle and The Zig Zag Festival, and served as Artistic Director from 2016 – 2019. She was also Script Coordinator for Script Tease from 2015 to 2023. Catherine holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts and History from Illinois Wesleyan University and was in the 2019 Directors Lab North cohort.

David K. Farkas
Dave received a Ph.D. in English literature (focusing on the Elizabethans) from the University of Minnesota in 1976. After a long career teaching technical communication at the University of Washington, he turned to playwriting. He has written over a hundred 10-minute plays and has Kindle-published two collections plus Performing 10-Minute Plays with Friends and Writing the 10-Minute Play. He and spouse Jean Farkas co-manage a hyper-local theater group, which stages 10-minute plays written by Dave and other members of the group. Dave teaches playwriting for the Woodinville Repertory Theatre and the Northshore School District’s Innovation Lab High School.

Dr. Edmond Y Chang
Edmond is an Associate Professor of English at Ohio University; he is also affiliate faculty with Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and the Rhetoric and Composition program. His areas of research include technoculture; race, gender, and sexuality; video games and queer game studies; digital humanities and digital rhetoric; cultural studies; popular culture; and 20/21C American literature. He is the creator of Tellings, a high fantasy tabletop RPG, and Archaea, a live-action role-playing game. He is also an Editor for Analog Game Studies and a Contributing Editor for Gamers with Glasses.

Emily Fortuna
Emily is a longtime Seattle theater-maker, frequently with new material. They have directed new work with Latitude Theater and Drunken Owl Theater, and have performed new work with Annex Theatre, Book-It Repertory Theatre, Harlequin Theatre, Parley Productions, Edmonds Driftwood Players, Jet City Improv, and others. They are also an Annex Theatre company member and have been involved with season selection. When making theatre, they are drawn to stories that are socially and personally meaningful, and have a playful element.

Jenn Ruzumna
Jenn is a Seattle based actor and playwright. Recent projects include Marcie’s (Try This Films), as well as The Park and Macbeth: A Rock Musical both at Seattle Public Theater. Jenn has been in partnership with Lisa Every for over twenty years. Their plays Happy, Happy, Happy…, and The Fifth Wave were produced by Macha Theatre Works. They’re currently working on their fourth full length play. Jo Jo Stiletto
Jo Jo is a burlesque producer, performer, playwright, and historian, and is known as the Professor of Nerdlesque – a leading authority on all things nerdy in burlesque. Her most recent production GUNKED!, co-written by Marcus Gorman, was nominated for the 2024 Gregory Award for Outstanding Original Script. Her successful burlesque parody co-productions have included The Burl-X-Files: The Truth is Down There, The Westminster Daddy Show, and Bechdel Test Burlesque in partnership with GeekGirlCon. Most recently, she was an invited rookie writer for 14/48: The World’s Quickest Theater Festival.

Juliet Waller
Juliet is a writer and teaching artist living in Seattle, WA. She has taught playwriting and theater in schools throughout the Seattle area, with theaters such as ACT’s YPP and Macha Theater Works’ Education Program. As part of TOPS K-8 drama program, she wrote the 5th grade plays for almost ten years. Her short stories have been published in a variety of online and print magazines. Her plays, many of them written with long time writing partner, Bret Fetzer, have been performed in small theaters around Seattle.

Kate Swenson
Kate is a writer, director, actor, and teaching artist with over 25 years of experience. From Seattle to Japan, Kate has led countless theatre and writing classes for artists ages 3 to none-of-your-business. Her Pink Llama Drama plays, specifically crafted for young actors and audiences, have been performed across the country. With her creative consulting company, ConFab Arts, Kate focuses on supporting artists with writing, performing, and the places where they intersect. She is the founder of the Tipsy Typers, a Writing Club-In-A Pub, that produces Write-O-Rama (a nerd-mixer/write-in) coming up in November 2025.

Lucien Oberleitner
Lucien (they/them) received their BFA in Theatre from Cornish College of the Arts in 2014. Focusing on Original Works, they have spent the last eleven years as a performer, director, writer, and choreographer. Lucien is a proud Alum of Parley Productions, wherein they were an Associate Playwright from 2015 to 2017. They also serve on staff at Annex Theatre as an Artistic Associate and as a teacher with Freehold Theatre's Engaged Theatre Program.

Maggie Lee
Maggie (she/her) is an award-winning Seattle playwright creating imaginative worlds on stage for youth and adults in genres like science fiction, fantasy, and horror. She’s had a variety of productions and commissions with local theatres and educational programs, including The 5th Avenue Theatre, Seattle Public Theater, Youth Theatre Northwest, and The 14/48 Projects. She has been a playwright mentor for the 5th Avenue’s Rising Star program, Macha Theatre Works Youth Voices, and 14/48 High School. She is a Resident Playwright at Seattle Public Theater, a board member of Rain City Projects, and a member of the Dramatists Guild.

Mimi Katano
Mimi is a bilingual/bicultural Theatre Artist in Seattle. As the Executive Artistic Director of Youth Theatre Northwest (YTN), Mimi has produced over 300 productions for youth by youth, including commission work from local playwrights. Mimi’s passion is to cultivate future theatre artists and bridge her native country of Japan and the U.S. through theatre. Nick Bringhurst
Nick is an award-winning multimedia marketer, actor, and artist originally from Pocatello, Idaho. Nick graduated with a degree in Advertising and Visual Communication from Idaho State University in 2021. Since then, Nick has earned multiple GEM Awards in advertising for his work with Bank of Idaho. He is a National Student Advertising Competition alumni, and his campaigns have placed 3rd and 1st in the Northwest region. Nick is thrilled to be at Seattle Public Theater, where he can combine his passion for the arts with influential marketing!

Opal Peachey
Opal is an award-winning actress, singer, cabaret producer, and founding company member of Nordo and Nebula. She graces the stage of the Triple Door each January as the ghost of Frederic Chopin in Bohemia (writer, composer) an annual audience favorite. Other companies she has worked with as a performer and producer include ACT Theater, Book-It Repertory Theater, Annex Theater, and The Re-Bar.

Pamala Mijatov
Pamala (she/her) is theater artist and producer who has been creating new work in Seattle for 20 years. She is the Executive Director of Theatre Off Jackson, which co-produces new and under-produced plays, musicals, and burlesque with four Resident Companies and dozens of emerging artists & organizations each year. Previously, she was the Artistic Director of Annex Theatre (2013 TPS Gregory Award for Theatre of the Year, 2016 Mayor's Arts Legacy Award) and a co-founder and Steering Committee Member of the revived Seattle Fringe Festival (RIP). She is a Board member at Annex Theatre and the 14/48 Projects.

Parmida Ziaei
Parmida is an Iranian multidisciplinary artist, designer, and co-founder of Seda Iranian Theatre Ensemble. As a designer, Parmida has contributed to a diverse range of projects, including interior, architectural, immersive, and entertainment spaces. She has worked as a scenic and production designer for numerous Seattle theatres, such as The 5th Ave Theatre, ACT, Village Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Seattle Public Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, and more. When not designing, Parmida performs, choreographs, and teaches as a movement artist and serves as a consultant and curator. Pepe Montero
Pepe is passionate about storytelling regardless of the medium and works in both English and Spanish. He was born and raised in Mexico, studied in the US and Spain, and has spent most of his adult life in Seattle. He was a production intern for Copper Canyon Press and assistant editor of poetry for Narrative Magazine before becoming a resident of the Jack Straw Writers Program. Pepe is the former president of Seattle Escribe, a nonprofit promoting Spanish-language literature, and is currently board president for Seattle City of Literature, the nonprofit that manages Seattle’s UNESCO City of Literature designation. Since 2024, Pepe has served as Acting Executive Director of Hugo House.

Rebecca O’Neil
Rebecca is a Seattle-based director and producer who will also happily act whenever she gets the opportunity. As the founder of The Shattered Glass Project, she has worked over the last five years to produce and direct unique new works telling stories by women, nonbinary, and transgender theatre artists. She takes delight in supporting teams of theatre artists to discover and articulate their voices. Rebecca’s philosophy of directing and developing new works centers around helping the playwright tell the story they want to tell in a way that creates the impact they hope to create.

Sailor St. Claire
Sailor St. Claire has been offering audiences an education in the humanitease since 2009 as a performer, producer, and emcee. A professional writer, educator, and voice-over artist, The Showgirl Scholar loves finding the intersections of pages and stages. To that end, she is also the co-Artistic Director of Noveltease Theatre, a literary burlesque company she co-founded with writer-choreographer Fosse Jack.

Sameer Arshad
Sameer (any pronoun) is a Persian-Turk-Arab-Indian playwright, actor, cultural-consultant, language-consultant and dialect-coach based in Tacoma, WA. Their full-length plays Crewmates and Alice in Arabialand have received full productions at Annex Theatre. Several of their short plays have also received productions via the 14/48 Projects. They are currently expanding mediums to animation, graphic novels, podcast storytelling, RPGs, visual novels and video games.

Shana Bestock
Shana is a theater director, educator, and non-profit leader born and based in Seattle, WA. Shana served 17 years as the Artistic and Education Director for Seattle Public Theater, building a unique youth theater program. 8 years ago, Shana founded Penguin Productions, uniting youth artistry and professional mentorship in innovative productions and playwriting adventures. She serves as ACT's Artistic Associate, directing New Works, Education, and Engagement programs. Shana has directed over 200 productions with youth ensembles, produced over 120 professional productions, commissioned over 30 new plays, and worked over 3 decades at the intersections of theater, youth empowerment, and social justice.

Tiger Khokunthod
Tiger is a director, music director, producer, and playwright from Chicago, Illinois, currently based in Seattle. He holds a B.A. in Music Composition (Theatre) and an M.A. in Community Music from Judson University. With a diverse portfolio, he has directed and produced various productions, including Godspell, In the Heights, and Spring Awakening. He also wrote and produced his original musical, Finding Home, with an upcoming album this July. In 2020, he founded The Home Creative Co., a local community theatre based in Elgin, Illinois. Will Nilly
Willy Nilly has been lighting up the stage since 2015 as an actor, playwright, and burlesque dancer. A graduate of Cornish College of the Arts, Willy has been writing and directing original works exploring a variety of genres and themes. They are a founding member and current co-Artistic Director of The Devil's Advocates, a performance ensemble and burlesque troupe. Their most successful production to date is the smash hit, Summercamp Slasher (2023) produced in 2023.

Zheng Wang
Zheng is a director, playwright, as well as the founder and artistic director of Dare to Dance Seattle. In 2024 he produced and directed his original play “Unstoppable: A Queer Dancical,” an ode to the power and resilience of the drag community. The show pioneered a new format that challenges the convention of musicals and explores the storytelling power of dance. It was a hit with the audience and garnered three Gregory Award nominations. Zheng is currently working on a new dancical titled “Dance With Me.” His other full-length plays include “Sometimes Love” and “Double Happiness.”
