PLAYlab is a monthly script development series for playwrights and other dramatic writers. We meet the 3rd Thursday of every month at 4pm Pacific.
This is an open space for sharing work and receiving feedback. Each playwrights will be given between 30 and 60 minutes (depending on participation) to read their piece, listen to feedback, and ask questions. All feedback is guided and given in a generous, productive spirit.
There may also be quiet writing time and discussions around craft and process. Playwrights are welcome to bring something they’re working on, any questions about craft or process they’d like to discuss, and an open mind. Big egos and harsh critics will not be tolerated.
Led by Miriam Tobin
All of our labs are free! If you like what you experience, please consider donating or throw a virtual tip our way. A suggested donation for this monthly lab is $15.
